SUMMARY:
The projectionist is responsible for providing necessary support for film projection and cinema operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
A. Projectionist
- Build films by inserting approved previews/ads before scheduled show.
- Show films at scheduled times.
- Insure that movie times at box office and marquee sign are correct.
- Monitor films during show times.
- Breakdown films after all scheduled showings and prepare films for return.
- Place prepared films in the pick up & delivery room by the date/time designated by the film companies.
- Assist with duties related to cleaning, maintenance, and repair of equipment as needed.
- Store equipment in its assigned area.
- Process appropriate paperwork for each event.
- Adhere to uniform standards.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
B. Assistant Manager
- Supervise cashiers to insure good customer service.
- Perform cashier duties as needed.
- Open and close tills.
- Open and close the cinema.
- Participate in month end close.
- Monitor inventory.
C. Customer Safety and Comfort
- In the auditoriums, monitor customers for improper behavior and address any issues in a friendly, but firm manner.
- Respond to customer complaints regarding improper behavior of other customers, and other concerns such as room temperature.
- Monitor parking lots for loitering or large boisterous crowds and notify manager if needed.
- Provide escort service to associates who are moving money from box office or concession stand to the manager's office.
- Bring all found items to the manager's office.
D. Customer Relations
- Offer to assist or get assistance for elderly or disabled customers.
- Customers must be seated in theatre chairs. Sitting on the floor or in the aisles is not allowed.
- If a customer is sitting in a handicapped seat they may be asked to relinquish the seat for a handicapped customer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years previous experience as a projectionist preferred.
- Must be able to lift/carry fifty pounds.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company communications.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and the general public.
- American Indian preference.
- Must be able to pass background checks, alcohol and drug screen

SUMMARY:
Plan, orchestrate and evaluate with Property Marketing Operations for Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Hinckley entertainment, public events and overarching promotional initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability objectives, as well as identify opportunity to increase effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for design and coordination of implementation of overall entertainment and promotions with Property Marketing Operations for two properties.
- Assists in providing expertise for marketing support requests, while maintaining allocated budgets.
- Analyzes sources of business and factors that affect gaming revenues and evaluates methods of effectively producing desired results.
- Works with the Director of Strategic Relationships to establish contacts to produce new ideas for promotions
- Interfaces with all impacted departments to ensure timely coordination of promotions.
- Works with Property Marketing Operations, Advertising and related departments to plan entertainment and promotions appropriate for our target audience and market dynamics.
- Works in conjunction with CC VP of Marketing and Property Operations to identify and procure appropriate entertainment by venue to ensure maximum attendance and revenues, yielding the show room accordingly.
- Identifies four-wall and public event opportunities for traffic building, image or relationship opportunities.
- Builds the Brand through imaging by identifying strategic entertainers, artists and promotional initiatives.
- Works with the Director of Strategic Relationships to identify Brand building sponsors and partnerships for promotional endeavors.
- Develop annual entertainment and promotional budget, while ensuring maximum utilization of budget. Responsible for monthly budget reports, including variance report.
- Monitor the tracking of budget expenses and the timely and accurate reports related to work flow and billing process. Responsible for the monthly review reports for inclusion in the CC operating review.
- Responsible for the process flow of all property marketing events and staff related to concerts, public events, and promotional functions.
- Work closely with the Central Marketing and agency to ensure timely and effectively advertising and promotional plan for each concert and promotion.
- Develops and maintains a good working relationship with entertainment agency to ensure special needs and requests are met.
- Lead, train and develop Property Marketing Events and Entertainment Associates to reach collective goals.
- Acts as role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Grand Casinos and encourages others to do the same
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervision Requirements:
- Responsible for overseeing the process flow of marketing operations event and entertainment functions.

- Minimum 2 years experience of supervision or project management

CERTIFICATIONS:
