SUMMARY:

Responsible for implementing and ensuring all maintenance operations on assigned shift are in accordance with Grand Casino Policies and Procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

  • Responds to work orders on a daily basis, according to Casino complex needs.
  • Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used in accordance with the manufacture instructions.
  • Maintains strict adherence of all OSHA safety rules and regulations are followed
  • Responsible for the Supervision and coordination's of maintenance staff activities throughout the Casino ensuring approved standards of cleanliness displayed.
  • Make recommendations and suggestions to hire, promote, evaluate, reward, discipline and may recommend discharge of any maintenance associate.
  • Responsible for advising routine maintenance and replacements necessary in assigned areas and is accountable for cleanliness and overall condition of the property and grounds.
  • Interacts with guests and other departments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

  • Responsible for financials, purchasing, time keeping, are kept within budget guidelines.
  • Responsible to source out products and negotiate pricing with all vendors.
  • Establishing and adherence to project schedules.
  • Communicating with managers of various departments for coordination and implementation of project goals and timelines.
  • Making weekly work schedules.
  • Distributing new memos.

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of three years experience in maintenance management.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read blue prints, electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Must be able to secure appropriate license from the Gaming Commission.

LANGAUGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and Maintenance instruction. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence reports.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Responsible for the successful overall supervision of all activities related to all Hotel departments, ensuring smooth and efficient operation, maximum occupancy, and optimum guest service and satisfaction.

SUMMARY:
